It's Art Beyond Limit

The Amalahle Ashushu blog is welcoming all of you to the year 2014. I hope you completed 2013 in good spirit and that you are looking forward to new challenges that you shall overcome this year as you overcame too many in previous years. Anyhow, without challenges, we will never grow and fully realise our strengths and true potential. And the constructive criticism should always be welcomed. We are human beings. We are not perfect. Therefore, we always need constructive criticism to better how we do things and how we conduct ourselves. I also believe that we need to strive to understand each other better to forge unity.

The first blog to paint the page of Amalahle Ashushu this year is the EloHIP Poetry Based Art Session.  The 25th of January 2014 saw the return of the EloHIP Poetry Based Art Session which was on recess for the December vacation. It was hosted by Khusta near the veranda of Desmond Mpilo Tutu Hall. Different artists (from performers to painters) blessed the audience with wisdom through art. The microphone had hit the hands of artists, such as: Zealot, Omen, Mabra, Truth & The Lies, Shoz, Jah Leader, King Zee, Sapta, Samrat, M Fire, Acumen, West Side, Mr M, Jah Fire, Sarhili, Jah Noah, Senior, Dan, Devine and others.

Samrat was promoting his book “Lion of Judah” and he preached for couple of minutes about the Ras Tafari Spirituality. The next session will be on the last week of February.
